Dowcraft Corp. had just completed the engineering of a new line of office moveable walls, but the new product had no distinctive appearance and did not offer any new features.
Dowcraft retained my services to design a product line based on their engineering. After my research and competitive analysis I was able to design the product line with a distinctive look and many new features.
This led me to then design their Showroom for the NEOCON Office Show in Chicago; the name I gave the showroom was "Gallery of Walls". Dowcraft's new product line received a Best of NEOCON award. This led to Haworth Office Furniture contracting with Dowcraft to produce all movable wall product for Haworth.
My client Gaylord Bros. of Syracuse, New York was looking for developing their market to Public Libraries for early childhood development (pre-school) programs. Gaylord Bros retained my services to research and design a product line for them based on the use of big and large books being used in story time programs in public libraries and find an OEM supply source for it's manufacture. From my research I developed a Big Book Displayer system with pre-school child appeal. My design was also loaded with handy features that the librarians were looking for. My "Story Time Steamer" on casters looked like a little steam train. Inside the three units, big books were stored. The folding easel was also a dust cover and could be placed on top of a unit or on a table top. Marker boards, felt overlays, clipboards and storage were all included.
Rotational molded chair - for Modu Form. This seating system is used in situations where security is of utmost importance. Any and all attachment mechanisms, screws, bolts, nuts, etc. must be buried into the rotational mold or seating frame so that removal of any part is not possible.
